For over three decades Joe Di Bernardo has been involved in the real estate field working in local, regional, national and international markets. He has held key executive leadership positions at some of the area’s largest privately held real estate development organizations and has worked on some of the New York metropolitan areas most high profile development projects. The acquisition and development of the former ITT research and development facility in Nutley, New Jersey and the development of the former Shulton/Old Spice plant in Clifton, New Jersey were two re-development sites that were turned into gated communities totaling over 1300 units. He also directed the contract purchase of the 15.7 acre Helmsley tract at the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The site is projected to become a billion dollar mixed-use high and low-rise residential, retail and commercial development and is considered to be one of the most valuable tracts of re-development property in the State of New Jersey. Joe Di Bernardo has also work extensively with the public sector on the development of thousands of government subsidized affordable housing units.
Gary Lowitt has been involved in the real estate industry in the New York metropolitan area for over fifteen years. For the past eight years he has been actively involved in the acquisition and development of multi-family residential projects, both for-sale and rental, and was most recently Vice President of Acquisitions for one of the largest privately-owned residential real estate developers in the region. Prior to this, Gary was involved for eight years in the acquisition and leasing of property on behalf of major retailers, including a three-year stint as regional Director of Real Estate of a national, publicly-traded retail company. In addition to having a background that includes both retail and multi-family, his experience has encompassed working extensively in both urban and suburban markets, giving him a truly unique perspective. He is expert at evaluating land acquisition and disposition opportunities, from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives, and has a keen eye for value. Gary is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of New York.
Lisa Marder has been in the new home building industry for over 27 years and brings a wealth of skills and resources to our clients. Her hands-on management experience, thorough knowledge of the industry and excellent interpersonal skills help clients achieve their sales and marketing goals. As a licensed real estate broker, she is adept at evaluating land acquisition opportunities, has vast experience in new community concept designing and in-depth experience in product design and marketing strategies. Lisa is a high energy individual whose wide network of real estate contacts brings an added dimension to our development team.
Anthony Fasano, a civil engineer by profession, had worked for more than a decade and led a division of one of New Jersey and New York’s largest engineering firms. He recently formed his own firm, Powerful Purpose, which specializes in executive training and coaching for engineers, architects and other professionals. He works with companies and their staffs to improve and stimulate business development. In this area he has become associated with JLD + A to combine his extensive business network to work with our team in fostering new jobs for our client companies.
Lynn David complements the JLD and A executive team in providing marketing, business and administrative support to the many projects in which the firm becomes involved. Public relations, hybrid telemarketing, as well as due diligence and market research are some of the areas in which Lynn, who has a strong background in the telecommunications industry, backs up the company and its myriad of activities.
